Your United Way provides access to and awareness of local health and wellness services, because good health is an essential ingredient to a thriving community. Whether it’s providing hospice care to someone who can’t afford insurance or doesn’t have enough coverage, prescription assistance to people who have to make the difficult choice between buying groceries or their medications, or mental health counseling to school age children whose families can’t afford it, we make sure these critical health and wellness programs are available to the individuals and families in our community who need them the most. Last year we helped over 20,000 people in this area.
