Peninsula Regional Medical Center recently announced the phenomenal results of its 2009 United Way campaign during a celebration at the Medical Center for over 100 employee campaign coordinators led by Susan Castrignano and Warner Crumb. More than 50% of all Medical Center employees contributed to the campaign to help the less fortunate on the Lower Shore for a grand total of $158,854. This total is an amazing 20% increase over last year’s campaign total. Peggy Naleppa, the Medical Center’s President and CEO said, “Our employees know times are tough for many families right here in our own community. By increasing our donations to United Way, we have reached out to help those who need it now more than ever.” The Peninsula Regional employee campaign is the second largest campaign on the entire Lower Shore and is instrumental in our local United Way providing critical support to local nonprofit programs.
