Basic typing skills and knowledge of basic office equipment is preferable for Administrative Volunteer. Persons volunteering more than 40 hrs/year must complete and pass a criminal background check at their own expense. Volunteers will also be asked to complete a packet of demographic information and agree to the Catholic Charities policy on Ethics and Confidentiality. Volunteers providing service which requires driving a Catholic Charities vehicle will need to provide a driving record at their own expense ($10).
Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care
Minimum two-hour shifts: 8:30am - 4:30pm at the Old Ocean City Road office; anytime and day of the week at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Volunteers must complete a three hour course, background check, and submit personal references.

Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center Inc.
Wednesdays and Fridays 10am - 12pm / 12pm - 4:30pm. Must observe anonymity of guests attending the Center. Does not require a weekly commitment. Volunteers will be trained by the Executive Director.

CASA Volunteers needed in Worcester County with a minimum of a one-year commitment.

Transportation needed for teens involved in the SAGES program in Pocomoke on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Fingerprints and driving record required.
