Imagination Library

Founded in 1996, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a program that provides hundreds of thousands of books each month to registered children in participating communities all over the United States and Canada. Promoting a love of reading and learning as the building blocks for a strong foundation in education, we believe in helping children dream more, learn more, care more and be more. Since launching the program here in 2012, we have distributed over 90,000 books to local children! To register your child for the program, please pick up a registration form at the United Way office or click here for a printable form  form and mail to: 803 N. Salisbury Blvd., Suite 2100, Salisbury, MD 21801 between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

My granddaughter Maya loves the books she receives! They have provided hours of sharing and learning with her mommy, daddy, and nonni.

My children and I and their father have truly enjoyed reading together. It has been a wonderful experience. Thanks to Imagination Library I believe my children will be wonderful readers!

My great grandson who is 2 ½ years old looks forward to “his” books and thinks he is so big, getting mail. We love reading the stories to him and getting his reaction.
