Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals and United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore recently teamed up for a Day of Caring to build a wheelchair ramp for a Salisbury resident in need in partnership with Chesapeake Housing Mission. Over 30 employees from Jubilant Cadista participated in the Day of Caring event. Cadista Pharmaceuticals President and CEO Scott Delaney, who was on-site during the project shared, “Jubilant Cadista takes great pride in supporting those less fortunate and the United Way has done a fantastic job of helping meet that need in our community. We as a company are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to continuing our partnership.”
Last year was the first year of partnership between United Way and Jubilant Cadista, and employees of the pharmaceutical company raised over $27,000 to support programs on the Eastern Shore. United Way Executive Director, Kathleen Mommé shared, “Our community is incredibly fortunate to have such a compassionate and generous company like Jubilant Cadista based here and we are so thankful for the support they have given our United Way.”
