Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center provides a safe and convenient environment for 37 local Twelve Step recovery programs. Over 1,000 individuals seeking recovery and those affected by substance abuse participate in support group programs held at the Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center on a monthly basis.

SSACC Executive Director Beth Ohlsson shared, “For nearly 25 years, United Way has sustained Salisbury Substance Abuse Community Center in a very meaningful and practical way. Our long term partnership with United Way has made it possible for us to continue to support those seeking recovery from addiction on a day to day basis, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. "
