In Education, our focus is making sure all children in our community will achieve their full potential. Through partnerships with public schools, nonprofit organizations, and the community at large, we are ensuring more children in our community have a strong educational foundation that will help them to graduate from high school.
Last year, we impacted over 20,000 local students through our programs, which include mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters, the youth programs at Salvation Army, and our very own Imagination Library literacy program. These programs provide the tools and the support children need for a strong educational foundation, and they have demonstrated outcomes which prove that their solutions work. When children enroll in these programs they get higher grades, they have better attendance in school and their behavior improves.
